Cageside Community Wrestler Rankings, Season 14: Week 18 results & Week 19 vote

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what’s going on in pro wrestling — Wrestler Rankings are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the five performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why.

We also have the outcome of last week’s voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for the Cageside Cup, given to our Performer of the Year.

This week, we’re voting on nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows that took place Aug. 24-30, 2025 — AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, NXT Heatwave, RawNXTEvolveDynamiteImpactROH on HonorClubSmackDown, ROH Death Before DishonorCollision, and everything else I’m no doubt forgetting.

But first, here’s the outcome of last week’s voting, and how those results changed our annual competition for the Cageside Cup.

Always leave ‘em wanting more…

  • She cleared up the mystery of her absence with some amazing news, then absolutely devoured a promo that left us anxiously awaiting her return.
  • We’re also anxiously awaiting the coronation of the Young O.G., and every appearance by AEW’s reigning and Timeless Women’s World champ.
  • Our excitement for The Man’s heel work (pre-Birmingham “controversy”) was equal to that of our excitement for the AEW star who won won New Japan’s G1.
  • A retiring legend made us wish he’d stayed face for his entire final year, and we honored Uce for his contribution to his wife’s news.
  • Props to the 5Star Grand Prix winner as she continues her climb back to the Stardom main event scene, and welcome back big dinosaur man… whatever you’re calling yourself.
  • And we still had a hat tip for the Genius of the Sky for refusing to leave Raw’s Women’s title picture, and the Wrath-bringer for refusing to leave AEW programming.

Ready to do it again? You can always check the “how to” here if you need to, or ask a question in the comments. The main things you need to know are you have five spots on your ballot, you can’t put the same person in two of them, but you can split a single or multiple spots between multiple wrestlers. Now…

Let’s have those ballots! We’ll take it from there, and see you back here in a week for the results and another vote!
