Burberry has unveiled its Summer 2026 campaign, directed by Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee. The collection draws deeply from the enduring interplay between fashion and music—the force that has long shaped culture, defied norms, and spoken a universal language of personal style.

The campaign is anchored in the raw electricity of live performance and the multifaceted energy of the UK’s music landscape. It honors the creativity of contemporary artists and the transformative power of sound.

“Music pushes boundaries, blurs lines, and defines the codes of fashion,” says Lee. “It is about self-expression, originality, and belonging.”

A Cast That Embodies the Moment

Leading the campaign is British model, actor, and 1960s icon Twiggy, joined by a diverse ensemble of emerging and established talents: Sonny Ashcroft, Filip Bryndza, Sora Choi, Albert Cocker, Ella Dalton, Shuqi Lan, Ahmed Richards, Raika Sales, and Maya Wigram.

The Summer 2026 Silhouette: Neat, Narrow, Unmistakably Burberry

The collection’s defining line is precise and streamlined. Rainwear takes center stage with three new trench signatures—the Summerside, Rayne, and Isleworth—each echoing a distinctive detail from a 1927 archival Burberry coat. For men, the Foxfield trench returns alongside the perennial Harrington jacket.

Outerwear captures the glistening haze of a British summer in innovative fabrics: printed trench coats, silk bomber jackets, and oversized parkas in waxed cotton. Washed and raw denim receives a foil finish, while wet-look raincoats are crafted from cotton and raffia-effect weaves punctuated by bold Burberry Check accents. Suede and leather pieces appear in python-print vegetable-tanned calfskin, laser-cut paisley that mimics lace, or finished with whipstitching and fringing.

Day-to-Night Versatility and Modern Tailoring

Silhouettes remain lean across the board. Shift dresses and mini skirts provide the foundation, evolving into slips, shirt dresses, and cropped bootcut trousers in check and leather.

Tailoring revisits a slim, mod-inspired sensibility in mohair wool, denim, and whipstitched leather. Three-button jackets—short, single-, or double-breasted—pair with tapered straight-leg trousers, worn over striped Sea Island cotton shirts and skinny silk ties, jacquard-woven with the Burberry Check.

Atelier Craftsmanship and Tactile Texture

Burberry’s in-house atelier takes pride of place, elevating craft and surface interest to new heights. Party dresses are hand-crocheted and embroidered with multidimensional fabrics. Chainmail dresses and kilts shimmer in color-blocked Burberry Check, while entirely beaded, mirrored-tile, or crocheted-leather pieces deliver striking tactility.

Knitwear is distinctly artisanal: intricate bobbin crochet on tops and trousers, macramé panels inset into coats, and skinny scarves finished with dramatic fringing.
