Public affairs expert Oladeinde Ariyo has discussed a disagreement that existed between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Governor Gbenga Daniel of Ogun State.

Ariyo said in a TVC interview that Obasanjo paid him a visit, had dinner with him, and even served him meat during Daniel’s first tenure as governor. He claimed that in spite of everything, Obasanjo tried to prevent Daniel from winning a second term, but Bola Tinubu stepped in and made sure Daniel was re-elected.
