The 2026 BET Awards have officially wrapped up, with Teyana Taylor and Clipse emerging as the night’s biggest winners during the ceremony held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28.

Hosted by Druski, the annual awards celebrated outstanding achievements across music, film and entertainment, with both Taylor and Clipse taking home three competitive awards each, while Kendrick Lamar and Kehlani followed closely with two wins apiece.

Teyana Taylor enjoyed one of the most memorable nights of her career, winning Best Actress, Video Director of the Year and the Fashion Vanguard Award before also receiving the prestigious Icon of the Year honour. Clipse also dominated the ceremony, claiming Album of the Year for Let God Sort ‘Em Out, Best Group and Best Collaboration for Chains & Whips featuring Kendrick Lamar. Lamar also extended his record in the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist category with a ninth career win, while Kehlani earned Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Video of the Year for Folded.

Other notable winners included Cardi B, who picked up Best Female Hip-Hop Artist for the third time, Leon Thomas, who secured his first Best Male R&B/Pop Artist award, and Olivia Dean, who was named Best New Artist. In film, Sinners won Best Movie, while its lead star Michael B. Jordan claimed Best Actor, marking his fourth victory in the category.

The ceremony also celebrated trailblazers beyond competitive categories. Ms. Lauryn Hill received the inaugural Living Legend Icon Award, legendary music executive Sylvia Rhone was honoured with the Ultimate Icon Award, and Teyana Taylor added the night’s highest individual honour with the Icon of the Year award.
