Beauty Queen Alondra Marianela Hernández Pérez Dies in Motorbike Crash

Tragedy has struck in San Marcos, Guatemala, as beauty queen Alondra Marianela Hernández Pérez, who represented La Blanca in the 2024 pageant, has passed away following a motorbike accident.

According to reports, the crash occurred on August 26th along the San Marcos–Quetzaltenango highway, a road widely regarded as one of the most dangerous in the region due to its high rate of accidents.

Hernández Pérez was rushed to the hospital alive but, sadly, succumbed to her injuries the following day. While the exact cause of the crash has not been officially confirmed, authorities continue to investigate the incident.

In a statement, the Municipal Government of La Blanca expressed its grief, saying:”The Departmental Queen of San Marcos mourns the passing of Marianela Hernández Pérez, Miss La Blanca 2024.

“We send our condolences to her mother and siblings and to her community in La Blanca.

“Rest in peace.”
