Australia: Increasing Orthodox Community in Perth as Over a Dozen Join the Church

Perth, Australia, January 14, 2025 – On January 11, Bishop Elpidios of Perth of the Patriarchate of Constantinople’s Archdiocese of Australia celebrated a collective Baptismal service for 12 people at the Church of the Annunciation of the Theotokos in West Perth. Among those baptized were three siblings from the same family. The candidates completed a year-long catechism program under Fr.
