Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday arrived at the private hilltop residence of former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd), in Minna, Niger State, eventually meeting with Oyo state Governor Seyi Makinde.

Atiku arrived shortly after 1pm and went straight into a closed-door meeting with Babangida.

The discussion was said to focus on electoral reforms, including electronic transmission of election results, new tax laws, and other national issues.

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, joined in about 40 minutes later.

Either Atiku or Babangida is expected to brief journalists after the closed-door session.
