Asaba Man Confronted by Residents After Seen Flogging His Nursing Wife in Viral Video

disturbing video from Asaba, Delta State, has gone viral online showing the shocking moment a man was confronted by angry residents after flogging his wife, who is a nursing mother.

In the viral footage, the man is seen snatching the baby from his wife’s arms before attacking her with a long stick he plucked from a nearby tree.

Eyewitnesses claimed the woman was bleeding from her nose due to the severity of the beating.

As the altercation escalated, the man reportedly charged toward the individual recording the incident. Background voices in the clip captured residents screaming and calling for help.

A female voice, believed to be that of the wife, could be heard pleading, “Make una leave am.”

Moments later, angry residents intervened — beating the man and chasing him away from the scene. The woman, visibly shaken and bleeding, was later seen getting into her car with her baby, as bystanders rained insults on her fleeing husband.
