Arapaja Says: “Journey Towards Rescuing Nigeria Has Started” – Appreciates PDP Govs, Others That Attend the Historic National Convention

The newly elected National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has posited that the journey towards rescuing Nigerians from the hardship they are facing from the APC led government has commenced with the election of the new executive of the party.

Arapaja made the disclosure in a statement he issued through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim and made available to journalists in Ibadan.

Arapaja stressed that God has put to shame some dissidents within the party who are working with the ruling APC led government to destabilize the party knowing fully well that if the party is united, it will be difficult for the APC to rule beyond 2027.

Arapaja hinted that the new regime of Dr. Kabiru Tanimu Turaki and his team will surely coast the party home to victory in the 2027 election, and rescue Nigerians from the sufferings that have bedeviled us since 2015 under the APC government.

Arapaja thereafter expressed his sincere appreciation to all the PDP Governors that made the convention possible through their resilience in the face of sabotage that almost made the convention impossible to hold.

Arapaja extended his appreciation to all members of BOT, and all the delegates from across the 36 states and the FCT for their participation in the convention.

While paying glowing tributes to the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for hosting the historic national convention which was attended by about 3000 delegates in Ibadan, Arapaja stated that Makinde has made another history as the first Governor in the State to achieve such a feat.

He solicited the support and prayers of Nigerians for the new executive members of the PDP in their commitment to the overall well being of the party.
