Anushka Sharma invests in Agilitas Sports to co-create One8 Yoga activewear line

Actor and producer Anushka Sharma has acquired a minority stake in Indian sportswear startup Agilitas Sports, further strengthening her association with the business after Virat Kohli joined as a co-investor and business partner last year. Actor and producer Anushka Sharma has acquired a minority stake in Indian sportswear startup Agilitas Sports, further strengthening her association with the business after Virat Kohli joined as a co-investor and business partner last year.

Kohli acquired a minority stake in Agilitas in 2025 for about Rs 40 crore as part of a broader partnership agreement. The deal also included the acquisition of One8 by Agilitas, as the company sought to expand its presence in India's sportswear and athleisure market.

The former Indian cricket team captain's investment followed the end of his eight-year sponsorship agreement with German sportswear company Puma, reportedly worth Rs 110 crore.

Founded in 2023 by former Puma India executives Abhishek Ganguly, Atul Bajaj and Amit Prabhu, Agilitas operates across sports footwear and apparel, overseeing manufacturing, brand development and direct-to-consumer retail operations through a vertically integrated business model.

Sharma's investment marks the latest step in the company's efforts to grow its portfolio and strengthen the One8 brand in India's increasingly competitive sportswear market.
