Alleged Mass Murder: Igbo Leaders Urged To Take Cases To International Criminal Court

According to Vanguard, The Igbo-Biafra Nationalists (IBN) have called on Igbo leaders to take cases of alleged mass murder of Igbo youths in the South East region by suspected security operatives to the International Criminal Court (ICC). This follows a circulating video showing uniformed men engaging in the execution of Igbo youths. The IBN condemns the acts and demands an immediate cessation of the killings, enforced disappearances, and incarcerations of innocent Igbo youths.

The group urges South-East governors, lawmakers, intellectuals, and professionals to unite and institute legal action against the Nigerian state and the Nigerian armed forces to hold accountable those responsible for the crimes. They also call for the identification and apprehension of criminal elements committing mass murder under the guise of Biafra.
