Adamawa Elders Hail New APC Nat’l Chairman: “A Victory for Progress and Inclusivity”

The Adamawa Progressive Elders Council has extended warm congratulations to Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his election as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the development as a significant milestone for the party and the nation.

In a press statement issued on Monday, March 30, 2026, under the leadership of Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), the council praised Professor Yilwatda’s “exceptional leadership qualities, unwavering dedication, and the immense trust he has earned within the APC.”

“We are immensely proud to see a man with acknowledged progressive credentials such as Professor Nentawe assume this important role at this critical moment in our history,” General Marwa stated.
