Actress Ruth Kadiri cries out for help after being scammed of N230k

Nigerian actress and movie producer, Ruth Kadiri has raised alarm fallen victim to dubious online vendors that scammed her of N230,000.

She took to her social media page to raise the alarm and seek the assistance of the public in recovering the money.

Ruth revealed that she ordered some products from a body slimming and waist trainer brand, but her items were never delivered.

The filmmaker said she made several attempts to get either a refund or the product but it proved futile. She pleaded with the business to consider the state of the economy and return her money.

According to the actress, she sent messages to that effect but there has been no response to date. While sharing receipts of their transaction, Ruth Kadiri bemoaned how difficult it is to gain trust these days.

She wrote: “Pls help me beg them to deliver my product or refund me o! Economy is hard o! Jesu! “No responding to my messages anymore!!!! Trust is hard these days o”.

Her colleague, Uche Elendu, in a post under the comments shared a similar story and recalled how she had to drag a business before receiving a reimbursement after falling victim to a similar incident.

Elendu wrote: “This people’s scam is on another level. That’s how I dragged them until they refunded my client’s money. Get your money first babe.”
