In a shocking revelation, actress Mercy Asiedu has turned down a $2 million offer from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) just days before the general elections.

According to Abro, the PRO for FIPAG and a staunch NPP member, the party had reached out to Mercy Asiedu to offer financial aid to support the struggling Kumawood movie industry.

Speaking on Rash Hour, Abro revealed that all Mercy Asiedu needed to do was accept the offer, and the $2 million would be hers.

However, the actress declined the offer, citing her affiliation with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and her unwillingness to accept money from a rival political party.
