ABUJA VARSITY STUDENT PUBLISHED 187 PG NOVEL DURING ASUU STRIKE

Safinat Salisu Bello, a student at the University of Abuja studying Political Science and International Relations, 300 level. She came up with the idea for her novel just before the February 2022 strike. The book contains 187 pages.

"I had the idea of the novel, but the present ASUU strike afforded me more time to begin the work seriously and complete it. I kept writing, writing and writing, and writing and editing, and writing ..." Sefinat told her University media team.

A 10-year-old girl named encountered the Devil in her book, Lara. This led to a fatal conflict in which one force attempted to consume the other.

"like a normal 10-year-old kid but different; she was like the two sides of a coin, an angel at home and a devil in school," Safinat writes of her protagonist Lara. She is the wind that can destroy you or the wind that can keep you chilly. She is the epitome of evil, the sign of destruction.

"Behind every devil there is a story, an astonishing truth is hidden there-one, more dreadful than demise. A dreadful fate befalls anyone who dares cross her path."

In addition to the book, she has also been able to write other novels that are accessible online. Her first interactive novel, a love fantasy, was published online.

She is also honing her writing skills and gaining bag-making knowledge throughout the strike.
