Professor Wahab Egbewole, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has emerged as the 12th Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin. He will succeed Professor Sulyman Abdulkareem whose tenure will end by October 15.

The announcement was made by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the governing council of the university, Mallam Abidu Yazid.

He disclosed that 13 of the applicants were shortlisted for the position out of whom the law professor emerged.
