34-Year-Old Mum Murdered by Fake Delivery Men

A young mother has been brutally murdered in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais, Brazil, after two men posing as delivery workers entered her home.

The victim, Ingrid Emanuelle Santos, 34, was found on September 10 with her hands tied with nylon straps and her throat sl-t. Her body was discovered by her nephew, who became concerned when she failed to pick up her daughter from nursery school.

CCTV Footage Shows Fake Couriers

Security cameras captured the suspects arriving on a motorcycle, wearing helmets and carrying a large food bag to pose as couriers. They were seen calmly entering Ingrid’s home, staying for about 10 minutes before fleeing the scene.

Nephew Discovers the Crime Scene

When Ingrid’s family could not reach her, her nephew went to check on her home. He found the door open and his aunt lying in a pool of blood. Two deep cuts were found on her neck, later confirmed to have been inflicted with a sharp weapon.
Police Investigation & Arrests

The police quickly launched an investigation and arrested two men on September 12 in Itumbiara, Goiás state, while they were traveling on a coach.

One suspect is 36 years old from Tocantins state

The other is 30 years old from Pará state

Their names have not yet been released

During the arrests, authorities recovered jewelry stolen from Ingrid and her daughter. One suspect has already given an informal confession.

Charges Filed

Both men now face serious charges, including: Femicide with aggravating circumstances, Aggravated theft and Tampering with a vehicle’s identification number.

Investigators believe the suspects monitored Ingrid’s movements for about 10 days before attacking her when she was alone.

Possible Motive Under Review

Police are analyzing financial transactions and messages to determine if the killing was commissioned. While Ingrid’s estranged husband — who had recently tried to reconcile with her — is expected to be questioned, authorities say there is no evidence yet linking him to the crime.

Her grieving family has described Ingrid as a peaceful woman who “had no enemies.”
