27-Year-Old Man Found Dead at Computer Wearing Gas Mask After Planning to Travel to Berlin

A 27-year-old man, Leonardo Di Loreto, has been found dead at his computer, wearing a gas mask connected to a refrigerant canister.

The tragic discovery was made on Sunday evening, August 24, 2025, after his parents raised an alarm and called emergency services. Paramedics arrived at the scene but could only pronounce him dead.

Authorities confirmed there were no signs of violence on Leonardo’s body. The mask he wore was identified as the type often used in workshops and agriculture, raising concerns that he may have accidentally inhaled excessive refrigerant gas.
