2026 Kawasaki Z900 Launched — Rs 9.99 Lakh

Kawasaki brings the 2026 Z900 to India at Rs 9.99 lakh, with updated colours and carried-over mechanicals for a compelling middleweight naked.

The MY26 Kawasaki Z900 carries forward the comprehensive styling and electronics overhaul that debuted with the 2025 model, so there are no major mechanical changes. Its 948cc inline-four engine now produces 125hp and 98.6Nm of torque — a slight bump of 1hp and 1.2Nm over last year’s figure, according to Kawasaki India’s specifications.

The bike retains an advanced electronics suite that includes ride-by-wire, cruise control, a bi-directional quickshifter, selectable power and riding modes, traction control and dual-channel ABS.

2026 Kawasaki Z900

Kawasaki has refreshed the Z900’s palette for 2026 with two new finishes. One reintroduces the iconic Candy Green that fans associate with the Z range, while the other is a new black option paired with a gold frame, giving the bike a sharper, more premium stance on the showroom floor.

The move to price the 2026 Kawasaki Z900 at Rs 9.99 lakh is notable because the model’s price had jumped earlier after the revised GST slab, briefly pushing it above the ten-lakh mark. By bringing the price back under ₹10 lakh, Kawasaki has positioned the Z900 competitively against other middleweight naked machines in India.
