Jeep's first electric vehicle, the Wagoneer S, is already available in dealerships. But Jeep's first proper off-roading electric SUV – one with a Trail Rated badge–will be the Recon. It's not an electric Wrangler, but it is boxy and Wrangler-inspired. The Recon initially was supposed to enter production in 2024. Delays pushed it to the end of 2025. Then there were rumors that it wouldn't happen at all. But now, Jeep is finally launching the 2026 Recon Moab trim, with production set to begin in early 2026. But you'll pay almost $70,000 to get one.
