When it came out more than a year ago, the 2022 Lexus LX 600 made a lot of noise. The 2022 model was the most important change to the LX in years. It had a new base and replaced its long-running V-8 with a new V-6 with two turbochargers. With all of these changes, Lexus decided to make only minor changes for the 2023 model year.

The 2023 Lexus LX 600 is better than its predecessor, the 570, but it still has a lot of the same parts and habits. It’s still a well-made and amazing piece of machinery, but it’s best at going off-road. But the LX doesn’t offer the kind of modern comfort you’d expect from a car that costs this much. Most owners would be better off with a different car.

For 2023, only small changes are made to the Lexus LX 600, which came out in 2022. All models now come with a heated steering wheel as standard, and the top model, the Ultra Luxury, has new Takanoha wood trim and an optional Sunflare brown interior. Also, if you choose the rear entertainment system with two screens, the screens now come with covers.

The 2023 Lexus LX 600 is nice and powerful, but rivals like the Cadillac Escalade, Land Rover Range Rover, and Lincoln Navigator are better in many ways. Read our Expert Rating to find out how the new LX compares to other cars in its class.

The cabin of the LX with just two rows of seating is rather spacious; nevertheless, not having a third row in such a large SUV eliminates a significant amount of the vehicle’s adaptability. Because the driving posture is more commanding and erect, drivers who are shorter may have difficulty finding a configuration that is comfortable for them. You get the feeling that you’re being pushed toward the door a little bit thanks to the massive centre console that’s in the vehicle.

The tall glass and huge mirrors of this enormous SUV provide for excellent visibility in all directions, which is particularly impressive given the vehicle’s size.
