A hardworking 19-year-old named Samuel has captured hearts across Nigeria and beyond after his story of determination went viral—and the kindness that followed changed his life in a big way.

Samuel used to make a living by collecting plastic waste and cartons from dumping sites, selling them to earn between ₦1,000 and ₦2,000 a day. He was saving every kobo to buy the tools he needs to start tiling work, his real dream and passion.
