Online travel company Yatra has announced a major leadership change with co-founder Dhruv Shringi stepping down as chief executive officer (CEO) and moving into the role of Executive Chairman.

The company said he will now focus on long-term strategy, global expansion and value creation, working closely with the board and senior leaders.

The traveltech platform has appointed Siddhartha Gupta, former president of Mercer India, as its new CEO. Gupta has previously held senior roles at SAP, HP and several enterprise technology and SaaS companies. He will lead business operations, strengthen the technology and services portfolio and drive growth across Yatra’s travel offerings.

In a statement, Gupta said, “My focus will be on accelerating growth, enhancing our technology and service portfolio, and delivering greater value to our customers. Together, we will scale Yatra to new heights, strengthen our international presence, and continue setting benchmarks in managed business travel.”

Shringi, who had been serving as CEO since Yatra’s inception, will guide the company’s long-term direction. His new role comes at a time when Yatra has been expanding rapidly in the corporate travel segment.

“With Siddhartha coming on board, we are bringing in the right leadership at the right time. His depth of experience in enterprise sales and SaaS aligns perfectly with Yatra's B2B-first strategy. Yatra has always been ahead of the curve in anticipating the needs of businesses, and with Siddhartha's expertise, I am confident we will not only consolidate our leadership in India but also unlock new growth opportunities globally. I look forward to collaborating with Siddhartha and the team to further strengthen Yatra's leadership in corporate travel and expand our footprint globally,” said Dhruv Shringi.

Over the past twelve months, the company has added 148 new corporate clients with an annual potential business of more than Rs 700 crore.

The company also reported strong financial results. For the quarter ending September 2025, revenue from operations rose 48% to Rs 350.8 crore. Profit for the quarter increased to Rs 14.27 crore. For the first half of FY26, Yatra posted revenue of Rs 560.6 crore and profit of about Rs 30.27 crore.
