Wizkid, DJ Tunez and DJ Maphorisa announce a shocking project

Wizkid is set to follow up the release of Morayo with a collaborative project with DJ Tunez and DJ Maphorisa.

New music from Wizkid is far from over in 2025 as it has now been confirmed that the Nigerian singer will release a project which will consist of three new songs with two of the biggest disc jockeys out of Africa, DJ Tunez and Maphorisa.

Popular DJ and producer, DJ Tunez, has officially revealed the track list for his much-anticipated project titled South Gidi.

Taking to X formerly known as Twitter today, Thursday, October 23, 2025, the Nigerian-born star shared three songs that will feature on the project titled, Money Constant, Fiesta Forever, and Abangani.

The announcement, accompanied by the South African and Nigerian flags alongside a heart emoji, highlights the collaborative and cross-cultural essence of the project.

South Gidi is expected to represent a fusion of Afrobeats and Amapiano, the key genres that have continue to dominate global airwaves and showcase the deep musical connection between Nigeria and South Africa.

DJ Tunez, who has consistently released songs over the years from his collaboration with both Wizkid and Fola titled 'One Condition' to 'Apala Disco' with Terry Apala and many more is expected to return to the biggest of stages with this project.

The project promises to deliver an exhilarating through snippets heard so far and also offer sonic experience that embodies the vibrant energy of both South Africa and Nigeria.
