While there is probably a lot more going on, according to Beducated’s research, it happens for three primary reasons:

While math-savvy readers will recognize that those percentages only add up to a total of 50 — meaning half the respondents had answers that fell into other categories — these are the top three, and definitely worth thinking about.

As Julia Svirid, the in-house sex coach at Beducated, says, “The common theme here is a lack of communication.”

Meaning, it’s time to start having more honest conversations with your sex partner(s), whether that’s your spouse of many years or a rotating cast of semi-regular hookups whose last names you may not even know.
