Texas Plumber’s Ford F-150 ended up in the hands of ISIS fighters in Syria, months after selling it US dealership.

At the time he traded his pickup, the dealership told him they would remove the decals of his company logo from the truck.

Though now outfitted with anti-aircraft gun, his Mark-1 Plumbing logo and company phone number was still clearly visible.

With his truck showing up on social media, he began to receive death threats, forcing him to sue the dealership for $1 million.

Back in 2015, a black Ford F-150 pickup truck owned by Texas plumber, Mark Oberholtzer, ended up in the hands of ISIS fighters in Syria, months after trading it at Auto Nation, a car dealership in Houston, US.

At the time he traded his pickup truck at Auto Nation, the dealership told him they would remove the decals of his company logo from the truck to avoid scratching the truck’s paint.

Unlike the base truck, Mark’s former F-150 has now been outfitted with mounted anti-aircraft gun by ISIS, though his Mark-1 Plumbing logo and company phone number was still clearly visible.

With his truck showing up in photographs posted on ISIS Twitter feeds, Mark said his secretary began receiving death threats, forcing him to sue AutoNation for $1 million.

“My secretary called me and said, ‘You can’t believe this,’” Oberholtzer told ABC News. “I really at first thought it was just somebody playing with us.”

“She was getting constant calls, threats, nothing about plumbing,” the Texas plumber said of his secretary.

Oberholtzer’s lawsuit against AutoNation seeks $1 million in damages, claiming “Mark-1’s revenues were lost and the company’s reputation … was irretrievably damaged.”

Per ABC News, using the website Carfax.com, the “truck was tracked from an auction site in Houston to Mersin in Turkey” and finally to “somewhere near Aleppo in Syria and in the hands of jihadists”.
