Marcy Dolapo Oni is reflecting on "high-functioning" depression. The media personality highlighted a saying that "depression cannot hit a moving target". The mother-of-two told of how she is always busy with running her family, "always doing, always sorting". "I'm expected to catch it all," she wrote on Instagram. She added that she keeps "sorting everything - but not always feeling sorted myself". She said she sometimes wonders what happened to the bright and brave plans she had as a woman in her 20s. She said those plans smelled like "freedom and ambition" before life asked her "to be everything, everywhere all at once." She said being high functioning "feels like survival dressed up as strength". "I can't take a day.
