The Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, on Thursday spoke with the press in Lagos State on the state of the nation, the hardship being faced by Nigerians due to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s policies, among other issues.

However, during an interview with Saturday Tribune, Gani Adams was told that some people suggested he should not have attacked his fellow Yoruba man in that manner, but when he was reacting to this, he said that as a Yoruba leader, if he keeps quiet on the wrongdoing of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in four years, or even in eight years, if another tribe becomes a president, if he decides to talk, Nigerians won’t judge him well.

He said, “When he (President Bola Ahmed Tinubu) came on board, the first day, from part of his speech, he laid down sorrow for the entire Nigerians. We read the speech that was written for him. There was no removal of fuel subsidy there. Verbally, he said the fuel subsidy is gone.”

He claimed that day President Bola Ahmed Tinubu became the president, they had a meeting in Lekki, and they watch the inauguration. Right after the ceremony ended, they set out. The president’s speech instantly became a policy, as all the fuel stations in the country shut down, waiting for the new pump price to be announced.

He alleged from that moment, the hardship began in Nigeria.
