  • The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring boast a 502 hp engine and a 9,000 rpm redline.
  • Prices for both GT3 models start at a steep $224,495, including a $1,995 destination charge.
  • The $19,330 Weissach package adds carbon fiber components for maximum weight savings.

Not everyone can afford a Porsche 911 GT3, but if you’re reading this, you can explore Porsche’s configurator online. Available in both winged GT3 and wingless GT3 Touring variants, both are priced at $224,495, including destination charges. This track-ready sports car is one of the best in the business, and now, we’ll configure “our” perfect one and explain why we made those choices.

The 911 GT3 is already a potent performer, powered by a 502 hp (374 kW) flat-six engine that revs to 9,000 rpm. Porsche only offers just 2 free colors: black and white. We’d pay $16,230 for the paint-to-sample Gulf Blue because we theoretically can.

From there, the next step is to decide on wheels and again, it’s time to splurge a little. A set of $16,820 black-painted ($600 extra for the paint) magnesium lightweight center-lock wheels feels almost unquestionable. Of course, going with them means being required to make other pricey additions.

That includes either adaptive sport seats for $,2640 or folding lightweight buckets for $6,860. We’ll go with the former to keep this car somewhat livable on a daily basis. Next, we have to decide on stitching. Guards Red seems appropriate and “only” adds $6,220 to the final price. Oh, and there’s one more required add-on: the mighty Weissach package for a cool $19,330.

I suppose that’s the quick way to tell if a 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 has the Weissach package: if it has the lightweight wheels, then it has the whole kit and kaboodle. Interestingly, the Weissach package does include a few special touches, like lighter body panels, more carbon fiber pieces, and a shorter gear shifter on manual-equipped cars.

This is quite an investment, and so we’ll tack on the paint protection film for $2,600. Notably, Porsche won’t let us add things like racing stripes if we want to keep the Weissach package. We were allowed to add the GT3 stripe down the side so we did it in Guards Red to match the stitching. Now, let’s chat about functional equipment.

First, we’re for sure getting the axle lifter at $3,660. We also added the extended-range gas tank for $230 and of course, opted for the six-speed manual transmission. Buyers can select some pricey headlights but we’re staying away from that in favor of paying more for the Guards Red seat belts ($550) and leather vent slats ($1,570).

Park assist is a no-cost option so we added it along with the $1,600 Bose sound system for a grand total of $292,915. Did we miss a key component that you’d include? Tell us about it below!
