German carmaker Volkswagen has expanded its premium SUV portfolio in India with the launch of the all-new Tayron R-Line, priced at Rs 46.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned above the Tiguan, the Tayron R-Line brings a sportier design, three-row practicality, and powerful turbo-petrol performance to the brand’s India lineup.

The exterior design clearly reflects its R-Line credentials. The SUV gets a bold front fascia with a large grille finished in gloss black, sleek LED headlamps, and sporty bumpers that add to its aggressive stance. The signature R-Line badging and stylish alloy wheels further distinguish it from standard Volkswagen SUVs. At the rear, connected LED tail-lamps and a sculpted tailgate give it a modern and premium appearance.

Inside, the Tayron R-Line offers a tech-rich and premium cabin layout. The dashboard features a large touchscreen infotainment system paired with Volkswagen’s digital cockpit. The SUV comes with a three-spoke sporty steering wheel with R-Line branding, contrast stitching, and premium upholstery that enhances the overall upmarket feel. As a three-row SUV, it offers seating for seven occupants, making it suitable for larger families seeking both luxury and performance.
