Victor Boniface finishes off Frankfurt, Leverkusen go 48 games undefeated

Victor Boniface came off the bench to score his 12th goal in the Bundesliga as Bayer Leverkusen shot down hosts Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 to now go 48 games undefeated this season.

The Super Eagles striker scored from the penalty spot in the 89th minute.

This was after fellow Eagles star Nathan Tella won the penalty.

Leverkusen have already been crowned Bundesliga champions.

They welcome AS Roma in the return leg of the Europa League semifinal Thursday with a foot in the final after they beat the Italians 2-0 on the road.

They are in the final of the German Cup later this month.
