Verydarkman Expresses Mixed Feelings on Youths Chasing Peter Obi

Activist Verydarkman addressed the recent event involving youths in Benue State who chased away NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi during his campaign. His commentary reflects a mix of happiness and disappointment regarding the situation.

He initially expressed joy at the mobilization of youths but later lamented the circumstances under which this crowd gathered.

Verydarkman Discusses Benue Youths’ Actions

Verydarkman stated, “I was very happy that Peter Obi was chased away. I am very happy the were able to do that. At least now we know that they can come out in numbers to chase people out.” He also highlighted the potential of the youths to confront security challenges, adding, “So that tomorrow now when bandit attack we get squad wey Sabi chase people.”

Despite his initial positive feelings, Verydarkman expressed disappointment in a large crowd’s ability to be swayed for political purposes. He noted, “That crowd that came out. It was heartbreaking. After all they’ve gone through, they still let themselves to be used as political tools.”

Davido also shared his perspective on the situation by reposting the video on Instagram. He explained his initial silence, stating, “I saw that thing and I was really really disappointed in Benue state youths.” He emphasized the emotional impact of the event, saying it was “heartbreaking”.
