Very rarely seen Big Brother star Paul Clarke spotted 25 years after legendary romance in the house

RARELY seen Big Brother star Paul Clarke has been spotted out and about 25 years after his iconic reality series romance.

The TV star – who has shunned the fame spotlight since starring in the spy house’s second-ever instalment – dressed down in sports gear as he stepped out in Buckinghamshire.

He struck up a flirty friendship with Helen Adams, and they went on to become an item[/caption]

Paul previously told how he snubbed a high profile life and went back to his normal job after his split from Big Brother co-star Helen Adams.

The former Reading lad fell head over heels for the Welsh bombshell in the house in 2001 but they kept their relationship purely to flirting because Helen had a boyfriend outside the BB house.

But love couldn’t keep them apart and they eventually shacked up, moving to Barnet until their break-up in 2006.

While Helen would go on to make a number of media appearances on Loose Women, GMTV, and as a celeb chef on Ready, Steady, Cook, the couple chose to keep their relationship private.

The media scrutiny around their relationship was one of the reasons the couple eventually called it quits.

Following his brush with notoriety, Paul then returned to his normal job as an independent consultant.

As he strolled around in the September sunshine, our images show he looked relaxed in a red top and black gilet.

He finished off his look with grey joggers and white trainers.

Paul was seen clutching a pile of documents in one hand after making his way from a sports centre.

With his low key demeanour and later seen tapping away on his mobile, he appeared adept at going under the radar.

AFTER BB

Paul, who appears to well and truly have moved on from his big Brother days, describes himself as a “passionate forward-thinking individual” on his LinkedIn page.

He works as a self-employed independent consultant with an impressive automotive client base in the US and Asia.

As for Helen, the Welsh beauty will be forever remembered for saying: “I like blinking, I do.”

She reportedly moved to Portishead, near Bristol, where she now works as a hair stylist.

Helen, who was also seen looking unrecognisable as she ran errands recently, got married and has a daughter with her husband.

BACK ON

Meanwhile, after the series re boot on ITV, the start next for the next instalment of Big Brother has been revealed.

Coming just months after Coronation Street‘s Jack P. Shepherd won the celebrity version of the show, hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best are back with a fresh civilian line-up.

The live launch will start on Sunday, 28 September, at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Show bosses are teasing “new twists and turns, elaborate tasks, intense nominations and live evictions” as the contestants battle it out for a huge cash prize.

Big Brother: Late & Live will air each night after the main show with celebrity guest panellists giving their hot takes.

And the Live Stream is also making its return, airing seven nights a week on ITVX.
