The UAE Lottery partnered with Zulekha Hospital to deliver an orthopaedic workshop supporting safer movement and injury prevention for Berkeley UAE residents.

ABU DHABI: The UAE Lottery, operated by The Game L.L.C under Momentum Group, partnered with Zulekha Hospital to organise an orthopaedic workshop for residents living in Berkeley UAE shared accommodation on April 30, 2026. The initiative was delivered through the organisation’s H.O.P.E. CSR platform, which focuses on healthcare, opportunities, planet and enrichment across communities in the UAE.

The one hour session, titled “Stronger Body, Safer Work”, was designed for residents whose daily responsibilities involve lifting, repetitive movement and physically demanding activities. Medical experts guided participants through practical advice aimed at improving posture, reducing workplace strain and supporting long term physical wellbeing.

The session was led by Dr. Saleh Kagzi, Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon at Zulekha Hospital, alongside physiotherapist Ms. Ceona Prakash Chopde. Both specialists demonstrated stretching exercises, safer lifting methods and movement techniques that participants could apply during daily routines. The orthopaedic workshop also encouraged attendees to recognise early warning signs linked to back, neck and joint discomfort.

Following the session, residents were offered optional onsite consultations with healthcare professionals from Zulekha Hospital. Participants had the opportunity to discuss personal concerns related to mobility, pain management and injury prevention in a private setting.

Suzan Kazzi, Associate Director of CSR at Momentum, said the initiative reflects the organisation’s commitment to making practical wellbeing support accessible to communities across the UAE. Dr. Aniruddha Lahiri, Senior Director Administration at Zulekha Hospital, added that preventive care and movement awareness remain essential for workers in physically intensive professions.

Dennis Rust, Head of Staff Accommodations at Berkeley Services UAE, said the collaboration highlighted the importance of creating healthier and safer living environments for residents. The orthopaedic workshop forms part of wider community programmes aimed at improving everyday wellbeing and strengthening long term support systems.
