Turaki Boys Commemorate Senator Saliu Mustapha’s Birthday With Special Prayer Session

The Turaki Boys, a group of young comrades, youths, and student leaders from Ilorin Emirate, organized a special prayer session to celebrate Senator Saliu Mustapha’s 53rd birthday. Held at the historic Idi Ape Mosque in Ilorin, the event brought together prominent Islamic scholars from the four pillars of Islamic knowledge in Ilorin Emirate, including Al-Adaby, Al-Markaziy, Lagbaji, and Agbarigidoma.

Convener Hon. Magaji Abdulfatai spearheaded the effort to unite the community and pay tribute to Senator Mustapha’s tireless dedication to the people of Kwara Central Senatorial District. During the ceremony, Sheikh Moshood Al-Addad lauded Senator Mustapha, describing him as a beacon of pride for Ilorin Emirate. “Turaki of Ilorin is not an ordinary member of our community; he is a pride of Ilorin Emirate. He has done a lot for our people, and we pray to Allah to grant him long life. He values the clerics,” he said.

In his concluding remarks, Ustaz Muheez bn Yusuf Olamide observed that all prominent Turaki of Ilorin have consistently ascended to greater roles following their inauguration. He offered prayers for Senator Mustapha to become the next governor of Kwara State, highlighting the community’s confidence in Senator Mustapha’s leadership capabilities.
