Trick Williams and Lash Legend are officially husband and wife

During the SmackDown taping in London today (June 23), Men’s United States champion Trick Williams announced that he and former WWE Women’s Tag Team champion Lash Legend tied the knot recently. The couple who met in NXT and announced their engagement last fall.

A People exclusive interview article and photo spread were timed to coincide with Trick Willy’s live announcement in The O2.

Legend (whose legal maiden name is Anriel Howard) told People:

“We really wanted to give people a trip and a wedding they’ve never experienced before. We both have people who love and support us, so we wanted to have this special time for everyone.”

She and Matrick Belton (Williams’ government name) tied the knot on the Port Antonio, Jamaica bay at the garden of Trident Castle. Among their guests were WWE stars Nia Jax and Oba Femi and Trick’s on-screen hype-man Lil Yachty. The groom’s older brother was the officiant.

And in case you’re wondering, for the big day the U.S. champ paired his lemon-pepper steppers with a suit from the Miguel Wilson Collection.
