Tribunal affirms Tinubu's election

The Justice Haruna Tsammani-led Presidential Election Petitions Court has affirmed the election of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The court in its ruling held that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar, failed to prove that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was wrong to have returned Tinubu as the duly elected by majority of lawful votes cast in the February 25, 2023 pollThis petition accordingly lacks merit.
