Japanese brand Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces April through June 2025 (Q1) financial results.

In Q1 2025, TMC vehicle sales totaled approx. 2,411,000 units, an increase of approx. 159,000 units vs Q1 2024.

Net revenues totaled $84.5b (+3.5%), operating income decreased from $8.4b to $8.0b, while net income decreased from $8.5b to $5.8b.

For the fiscal year ending March 31st 2026, TMC estimates consolidated vehicles sales to reach 9.80 million units.

Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), which produces vehicles under Daihatsu, Hino, Lexus and Toyota brands, has announced its financial results for the first quarter (Q1), which ended June 30th 2025.

Between April and June 2025, consolidated vehicle sales totaled approximately 2.4 million (2,411,000) units, an increase of approximately 159,000 units compared to the same period last fiscal year.

Net revenues for the period totaled $84.5 billion (an increase of 3.5%), operating income decreased from $8.4 billion to $8.0 billion, while net income decreased from $8.5 billion to $5.8 billion.

With a total sales of approximately 794,000 vehicles (increase of 89,000 units), North America was Toyota’s biggest market, followed by the home country of Japan with 481,000 units, an increase of 60,000 units.

Approximately 298,000 vehicles were sold in Europe (+7,000 units), Asia got approximately 421,000 units (-15,000 units) while approximately 417,000 vehicles (+19,000 units) was sold in other regions, including Central and South America, Oceania, Africa, and the Middle East.

For the fiscal year ending March 31st 2026, the Tokyo-based company estimates consolidated vehicles sales to reach 9.80 million units. It also forecasts consolidated net revenue of $334.5b, operating income of $22.1b and net income of $18.3 billion.
