#ThrowBack: Estar (Resonance) – Chinwe Ike Remix ft. 2face

Estar is the light-skinned songbird who was the live wire and one-half of the now defunct music group, Resonance. The success of the group and their records making waves can be tied to the fact that she’s still one of the best sopranos that is worth her bragging right. Since the wide reception of one of their breaking singles Chinwe Ike, 2face who was quite the buzz as at the time of it’s release was enlisted to be a vocal assist on the track’s remix.

As was his fashion then, Tubaba did good on the track with his tasty Idoma accent and even served some lines in the dialect. Estar’s endearing tone and melodies are yet to be seconded by any other femme in the industry. And I doubt that anyone will. The remix was produced by J. Martins who was the maestro then and very well sought after too.
