Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, the Ghanaian woman intending to break the Guinness World Record of the longest singing marathon has expressed her displeasure about Rex Omar leaking her list of songs.

On Monday, 18th December 2023, the Chairman of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), Rex Omar, posted the list of songs to be performed by Afua on Facebook.

He congratulated Afua and her team for doing the right thing. This was after he said on GTV some days ago that GHAMRO could stop her if she did not submit the list of songs she wanted to sing.

His statement met a lot of criticism.

After Rex shared the list publicly, Asantewaa complained through the comment section.

“This is supposed to be a confidential document for your outfit so why make it public Sir. This is not acceptable,” she commented.

A few minutes after his post, Rex Omar took it down.

His action has been condemned by many people.

Afua will attempt to pass the 105-hour record from 24th to 27th December 2023.
