This is the end of a model, but increasingly, this also means the end of an era in a broader sense. This is also the case now, with the end of the Jaguar F-type. It is not only time to say goodbye to the F-type but also to sporty two-door Jaguars with a combustion engine. Swallow. The XK series, the XJS, and, of course, the E-type also belong to that illustrious bloodline, and after the F-type, nothing will ever come close to that. After all, Jaguar will become fully electric and move more into the Bentley region.

However, it certainly does not come as a surprise that it is now over for the F-type. This is not only because the end was announced in October 2022 and the very last versions have been released since then, but also because the F-type is quite old in the first place. We already got to know it in 2013 as the successor to the last XK. The really last F-type ever built, as we see in the photos below. It is a Giola green-painted convertible with a black roof and Tan Windsor-colored leather upholstery. A color combination that refers back to the very last E-type 5.3-liter V12 Series III convertible ever built exactly fifty years earlier. By the way, in the nose of the F-type lies the 5.0 V8, which is also buried.

The last Jaguar F-type ever will not go to a customer but will be transferred to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. It will be on display at various events for the general public and will remain in the collection. Jaguar emphasizes that there is indeed another sporty model in the pipeline for next year, but that will be an electric four-door GT.
