The ultimate brooding love interest, Edward Cullen is totally the black cat boyfriend of the zodiac signs. Tauruses are known to be devoted and reliable, but also a bit stubborn and possessive. Geminis are known to be curious, and Stefan can’t help but be intrigued by Elena, even when he knows he shouldn’t be getting involved with a human.

Cancer

Emotional, sensitive, and poetic are three words that describe both a Cancer and Louis de Pointe du Lac. Full of immortal guilt, Louis is constantly fighting an internal battle. Sympathy and vampires aren’t usually two words you’d hear in a sentence together, but they perfectly make sense with Louis, who can’t help but be pessimistic and insecure about his lifestyle as a vampire. He’s reflecting by candlelight and probably journaling about all of his emotions, much like a Cancer.

Leo

Leos, you probably saw this one coming. No one screams Lady Gaga playing a sexy immortal monster quite like a Leo. As The Countess, Gaga plays the arrogant and self-centered role of a vampire completely controlled by her own desires. She loves the spotlight, admiration, and expensive things, much like a stereotypical Leo. The Countess is vampire royalty, knows her worth, and isn’t afraid to bloody her hands to get what she wants.

Virgo

Alice Cullen, Twilight

If there’s one vampire in the Twilight series with a serious sense of loyalty, it’s Alice Cullen. Just like the typical Virgo, she’s very analytical, thanks to her special vamp powers, which let her see into the future. She’s always one step ahead and works hard to make sure those she loves are kept out of harm’s way. Despite being a vampire, she has the deep sense of humanity of a Virgo.

Libra

Caroline Forbes, The Vampire Diaries

Libras are all about balance and harmony, and no one embodies this better than Caroline Forbes. Even after being turned into a vampire, Caroline remains herself. She’s social, friendly, and empathetic, which describes a Libra perfectly. Known for their indecisive nature, Caroline gives off major Libra energy— especially when it comes to love.

Scorpio

Damon Salvatore, The Vampire Diaries

Damon Salvator is the ultimate Scorpio man if I’ve ever seen one. Scorpios are known for their moody and broody nature, but also their bravery. While Damon certainly shows his jealous, angry, and violent sides throughout the show, as he begins to fall for Elena, we get to see how passionate and caring he is, too. He just doesn’t know how to show his intense feelings without going a little (or majorly) overboard, in true Scorpio fashion.

Sagittarius

Elena Gilbert, The Vampire Diaries

Although she starts as a human, Elena Gilbert is a total fire sign through and through. Sagittariuses are known to be curious and a little idealistic, just like Elena. I mean, how curious do you have to be to get involved with a vampire? She believes that the love between her and Stefan can conquer all, when in reality, it isn’t so simple. Once turned, her Sag side really shines, especially when it comes to impatience and always speaking her mind (even when it gets her in trouble).

Capricorn

Marcel Gerard, The Originals

A Capricorn vampire is ambitious, strategic, no-nonsense, and definitely has a high level of discipline. Marcel Gerard has all those traits—plus sharp teeth and sharper instincts. He also comes across as a know-it-all, and appreciates tradition just like Capricorns are known to do. Marcel is the responsible one, always coming to the rescue with a detailed plan of action and four different back-ups. He’s smart and talented, and despite his condescending nature, he’d do anything for his family, which is so Capricorn.

Aquarius

Sarah Fox, My Babysitter’s a Vampire

Aquariuses are known for their energetic and eccentric nature, and so is Sarah Fox in My Babysitter’s a Vampire. She loves to have fun, but also has a humanitarian side to her. She fights for her human friends and protects her town from the evil vampires who threaten it, and isn’t afraid to take a risk to do so. Aquariuses pride themselves on being original and independent, much like Sarah, who doesn’t always like to ask for help.

Pisces

Bella Swan, Twilight

Bella Swan is basically all the Pisces traits rolled into one moody, human-turned-vampire. Although we see her human side throughout most of the Twilight series, after she turns into a vampire, those traits become even bolder. In the early movies, she’s sad, fearful, and loves to be alone. But as the series progresses, we get to see her selflessness and deep compassion for the people in her life. And just like a Pisces, she becomes much wiser through her life experiences.
