Tanzanian Socialite Feruzy Trends After Revealing HIV Status On Social Media

Tanzanian socialite Feruzy has gone viral after openly disclosing her HIV status during an interview on Oga Obinna’s channel.

The revelation came following her controversial encounter with influencer Madollar Mapesa, with whom she claimed to have had a relationship.

In the interview, Feruzy not only revealed her status but also urged men to prioritize HIV testing. She further leaked private chats with several men she claimed to have been involved with, sparking heated conversations online.

In response, Madollar stated that he met Feruzy three months ago but accused her of disappearing afterward and allegedly stealing money from him. He questioned her claims of being able to pay someone KSh 1 million to “clean her,” while insisting he had only given her what he considered pocket change.

Screenshots shared by Feruzy also showed her confronting Madollar, questioning why he was tarnishing her name despite asking for her HIV status and allegedly offering her 1.2 million Tanzanian shillings.

The drama has since fueled widespread debate across social media, with many weighing in on issues of HIV awareness, stigma, relationships, and accountability.

She said: “Now, honestly, why are they tarnishing my name, Madollar Mapesa? Is that really fair? Yes, we met, but why would you force me to take a test when there’s protection, yet you yourself refused and instead gave me USD 500 for my time, saying I should be taken back to where I came from. As for your bag, I never saw it. Your manager is the one who had it in that Range Rover, while you got into your Benz as we were communicating, remember.”
