Reggae show host Tallia Oyando broke down while hosting the final show One Love at Citizen TV.

Tallia began by thanking everyone who has supported her throughout her journey while at the station for the past eight years, then got overwhelmed by emotions and had to pause for some time.

“I did not want to say much as I am a very emotional person. I love you guys so much thank you so much for coming. It has been eight amazing years, and I just want to thank every single one of you for coming here. I am happy that you came,” said a teary Tallia.

Tallia Oyando appreciates fans

She went on to reminisce over her career in the limelight that began when she was thirteen years old. She attributed her journey to God and her fans.

“I have been in the limelight since I was thirteen years old, and I am still here by the grace of God. So, I just want to say thank you so much. I am here thanks to God and your support,” added Tallia.

Taking to her Instagram account, the media personality better known as ‘The Night Nurse’ appreciated everyone who has been reaching out to her ever since she announced her departure from the station.

“Thank you, I have felt so much love this week that has just fuelled me. I’m still an emotional wreck so for now. I love you thank you from the bottom of my heart to the depths of my soul,” said Tallia.

Tallia’s journey

Talia announced her departure from the station on January 21, 2025. She added that while she was exiting the station, she would still be in the industry.

“While this chapter is closing, I promise you our story is far from over. There are even greater things aligned, and I can’t wait to share them with you,” she stated. 

Born in February 1984, Tallia began as a music artist before she transitioned to being a radio and Television host. Before joining Citizen TV, she hosted ‘The Juice’ show on Homeboyz radio.
