Sycho Sid Vicious is going into the WWE Hall of Fame

It’s been almost two years since his too-soon death at the age of 63, and while his star didn’t burn for long, Sid Eudy’s star burned bright enough in the 1990s that few would have argued with his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame before he died.

Alas, that didn’t happen. But now WWE is doing something for the man who won its top prize twice as Sycho Sid (and WCW’s World title twice as Sid Vicious). He’s be enshrined in this years Hall class as the 2026 Legacy Award winner.

Chief Content Officer — and multi-time Hall of Famer — Paul “Triple H” Levesque shared the news this morning (March 24):

No matter which moniker you knew him by, Sid’s intensity was palpable across the ring and through your TV screen. A multi-time champion in @WWE and WCW, and a two-time #WrestleMania main event, it’s a pleasure to announce that he will take his rightful place in the 2026 Legacy Class of the #WWEHOF.

Sid will go into the Hall with a class that so far includes Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, Ax & Smash of Demolition, and Dennis Rodman.
