Matchday 11 of the English Premier League produced a mixed bag of performances from Super Eagles stars, Soccernet.ng reports.

Some made their presence felt with confident displays, while others struggled to make an impact as the race for form and fitness continues.

Here’s how the Super Eagles stars fared across England this weekend.

Super Eagles in the Premier League: HIT

Calvin Bassey (Fulham) – Rating: 7.1

Bassey put in a strong defensive shift despite Fulham’s loss. The defender registered 5 clearances, 2 blocked shots, 1 interception, 4 recoveries, and 2 tackles (1 won).

His distribution was also excellent, completing 56 of 62 passes (90%).

Super Eagles in the Premier League: MIXED

Alex Iwobi (Fulham) – Rating: 6.9

Iwobi was one of Fulham’s few bright sparks in their 2–0 defeat to Everton. The Nigerian midfielder worked hard off the ball and tried to link play from midfield, completing 31 of 36 passes (86%) and winning 3 of 4 ground duels.

He also made two tackles and one interception in a busy display, even if his efforts couldn’t prevent defeat at Goodison Park.

Samuel Chukwueze (Fulham) – Rating: 6.1

Chukwueze came off the bench for the final 30 minutes but struggled to influence the game. He completed just 4 of 7 passes (57%), attempted two dribbles (none successful), and didn’t register a key pass. Still, his pace offered a bit of spark down the flank.

Super Eagles in the Premier League: MISS

Taiwo Awoniyi (Nottingham Forest) – Rating: 6.0

Awoniyi replaced Igor Jesus in the second half but couldn’t impact the scoreline as Forest beat Leeds 3–1. With only 9 touches, 2/4 accurate passes, and no shot registered, the forward looked off pace.

He did contribute one interception and one clearance, but it wasn’t enough to make a statement.

UNUSED SUBSTITUTES

Frank Onyeka (Brentford) – vs Newcastle (3–1)

Tolu Arokodare (Wolves) – vs Chelsea (3–0)

Christantus Uche (Crystal Palace) – vs Brighton (0–0)
