The match pitting Death Rider Daniel Garcia and his tag partner Clark Connors against Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong on AEW Dynamite tonight (Feb. 11) was a building block to the hair vs. hair mixed tag match coming up this weekend between Garcia’s teammates Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta and Timeless Toni Storm and Cassidy.

The babyface team won, but OC didn’t get much of a chance to celebrate. And the win had nothing to do with Cassidy’s tag partner tonight, and perhaps (now former?) fellow member of The Conglomeration, Strong. After spending the first half of the match bickering, Roddy walked out:

The numbers game threatened to get every Sicko’s favorite Slacker, but Darby Allin made a timely save, showing up to get a measure of revenge against Connors for dragging him into the desert with Gabe Kidd last Wednesday:

After Cassidy won a cradle exchange with Garcia, Storm appeared in the balcony with Luther. Her predictably and entertainingly bawdy promo was answered by Yuta, who brought out Shafir. Jon Moxley’s right-hand had Toni’s dear Mina Shirakawa in Mother’s Milk while Wheeler snipped off her hair (probably just extensions, but those things aren’t cheap).

Seems like a sign the babyfaces won’t be getting haircuts on Saturday in Sydney, but what do I know?
