WWE President Nick Khan and Chief Creative Office Paul “Triple H” Levesque are both speakers at Sports Business Journal’s World Congress of Sports conference, which has been taking place in Los Angeles this week.

It was there that Khan dropped some hints about WrestleMania 41’s date and location. That per a tweet/post on X sent from the conference by journalist and occasional NXT pre-show panelist Arash Markazi:

WWE president Nick Khan wasn’t ready to announce the location of WrestleMania in 2025 just yet but he said you can assume it won’t be in an outdoor East coast stadium again and it won’t go head-to-head with the Final Four again. Las Vegas is one of the cities under consideration.

Markazi then added that the part about moving away from outdoor venues in cold weather markets isn’t surprising. While doing interviews during WrestleMania week this year, Khan worried about the temps in Philadelphia and mentioned that it was the last ‘Mania host that was already locked in prior to his joining WWE in 2020. Markazi also speculated that future WrestleManias will be held in Super Bowl venues.

He was surprised Khan mentioned moving ‘Mania away from the Final Four. I went back to 2019, and all but one (WrestleMania 37) ran the same weekend as the NCAA Basketball Tournament semi-finals.

Next year’s Final Four is already scheduled for April 5, so expect the 2025 Showcase of the Immortals to be no earlier than April 12 & 13.

Another tidbit Markazi shared had to do with WWE’s international plans and the so-called Big 4 PPV/PLEs:

WWE president Nick Khan said Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series will be held in the United States and Canada for the foreseeable future but other premium live events such as Backlash, Elimination Chamber and King of the Ring may take place internationally.

WWE’s line-up of international events has grown considerably since Khan joined the company’s management team, but it sounds like their biggest shows will stay close to home... for now, anyway.
