SOLUDO LAMENTS OVER OGBARU BOAT MISHAP, CONSOLES VICTIMS

Anambra State governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has condoled with the families of persons involved in a boat mishap that occurred in Umunnankwo Community in Ogbaru Council Area on Friday.

TVC News earlier reported that the boat which had passengers on capsized, while officials are yet to come up with casualty figures

Soludo’s condolence message to the families of the victims, which was signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime described the accident as a rude shock to the government and people of Anambra State.

He sympathizes with the families of the people involved.

Governor Soludo seized the medium to speak on several interventions made by the state government to relocate people in the flood-ravaged area to IDP camps for safety.

He assured that his government will continue to do its best to reduce the negative effects of the flood disaster in the state.
