Renowned Ghanaian preacher, Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha, has launched a scathing attack on controversial media personality Afia Schwarzenegger, accusing her of disrespecting former President John Dramani Mahama.

Speaking in an interview, Prophet Kumchacha described Afia as a “tool of chaos,” alleging that she accepts financial incentives from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to stir controversies as elections draw near.

He claimed her actions are calculated to distract the public and tarnish the image of political opponents.

“Afia Schwarzenegger is an evil person who thrives on controversies. She sells her dignity and soul to create problems for others,” Kumchacha remarked, further accusing her of immoral behavior. “She has cheapened herself by associating with men who do not respect her, just for money and favors.”

The outspoken cleric did not hold back as he referenced Afia Schwarzenegger’s tumultuous personal life. He highlighted her previous scandal involving her ex-husband, Lawrence Abrokwa, who reportedly caught her in a compromising position with another man.

In a surprising twist, Kumchacha announced his decision to officially align himself with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC). Disillusioned with the governing NPP, he declared his support for former President Mahama, who is the NDC’s flagbearer for the 2024 general elections.

“I have been disappointed by the current government. They have failed to fulfill their promises, and it is time for a change. I am now a proud member of the NDC,” Kumchacha stated emphatically.

He also used the platform to encourage his congregation and the Ghanaian electorate to vote for John Dramani Mahama, describing him as a leader with the experience and vision to move the country forward.

“John Mahama has proven himself as a leader who prioritizes the welfare of the people. It is time for us to give him another chance to steer this nation in the right direction,” he said.

Prophet Kumchacha’s remarks have sparked reactions from both NPP and NDC supporters, with some applauding his boldness while others criticized him for delving into partisan politics. Afia Schwarzenegger has yet to respond to the accusations.
